IEC Lock Cables
Have you ever experienced the inconvenience and hassle of accidental cord disconnection?
The solution to this trouble is over! The IEC Lock range features a unique locking function to protect against cords accidentally coming loose. This simple and cost-effective solution is ideal for protecting critical appliances, network devices, PDUs and servers vulnerable to vibration, where cords accidentally coming loose can result in disastrous outages. These outages can compromise your home or office’s productivity, and the functionality of your IT equipment.
How does it work?
The IEC Lock has a unique female IEC C13 and C19 connector which fits into any standard IEC C14 or C20 inlet.
Simply plug the IEC Lock Connector into your standard IEC inlet. This will automatically activate the locking mechanism, locking the cord into position – no other equipment, special inlets or hardware are needed to ensure connection security. Your appliance is now protected against vibration or accidental disconnection, giving you instant peace of mind. To remove the cord, simply slide back the red tab to release the locking mechanism, and remove the connector from the inlet.
