One of the most important factors in brick construction, and often overlooked, is the cleaning process.
There can be some major detrimental problems for builders and bricklayers if the masonry is NOT prepared correctly;
Possibility of having to redo the brickwork if there is adherence issues.
Reduced aesthetic appeal; streaking and staining
It is therefore absolutely essential to ensure the correct chemicals or acids are applied to all dry pressed and extruded bricks before the work is undertaken.
The type of acids used is dependant on the masonry and Abate Cleaning are able to give you a full assessment of the chemicals required, prior to commencement. Abate use bio-degradable chemicals where possible.
There are a number of ways to achieve this including standard bucket & brush application, pressurised water treatment or even in some cases, sand blasting.
