The 2011 Budget has confirmed that from 2012, the maximum concessional super contribution over 49 year old taxpayers can make, will be reduced to $25,000 PA in line with under 50 taxpayers.

This means you have only 2 more years to go to enjoy the $50,000 limit.

We strongly recommend that you consider your personal circumstances and perhaps consult with your financial advisors, and if appropriate utilise the $50,000 limit to full.

Contributing to your super fund not only has huge tax benefits, it is also a great way to save for your retirement.
