In order to register an imported vehicle in Australia, the vehicle needs to be fitted with a Compliance plate. Before the vehicle can be imported, it must be listed on the RVCS ‘SEVS’ register The vehicle must be modified and inspected to ensure it meets the requirements of the ADR’s (Australia Design Rules), once an approval is granted by the Department of Transport and Regional Services the identification (Compliance) plate can be attached.
