Threatened flora surveys
David Fell Environmental Pty Ltd
Flora Surveys, Papua New Guinea, Ecosystems
Field surveys for threatened flora species are necessary to reliably assess the level and type of impact a proposed development or activity will have on a particular species, population or ecosystem. They are also important to determine the conservation values of habitat at the local, regional, state and national scales. David Fells experience in threatened species surveys is extensive and is derived from years of field work throughout Queensland, and in northern New South Wales and Papua New Guinea. Survey and assessment methods reflect an understanding of survey and assessment principles with reference to relevant state and federal legislation and policy frameworks.
