This course is intended for operators who are required to transport placardable units of dangerous goods (over 500kg(L) units). These were previously known as 'bulk' dangerous goods.
The Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road
(30744QLD) is an accredited course which is conducted over two days. This
course provides the necessary training and assessment that is required by
statutory authorities to allow a driver to apply for or renew a Dangerous Goods
The completion of the Unit of Competence will
enable a person to meet the competency requirements for the application for a
dangerous goods driver licence.
In addition, licence holders are required to
re-attend a course for the purpose of renewing their licence prior to expiry.
The Unit of Competence within this course will meet the competency requirement
for renewing their licence for the transport of dangerous goods by road.
