Scientific Beauty

Certificate II in Nail Technology has been designed as a standard entry level qualification for the beauty industry.  It applies to those wishing to develop the skills and knowledge to begin a career in the nail technology stream of the beauty industry.

Certificate III in Beauty Services has been designed to develop the skills and knowledge of those employees who wish to be employed as a beauty practitioner in a salon with limited supervision, ensuring a safe working environment, provding treatments including lash and brow treatments, temporary epilation and nail technology.

Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy has been designed to develop the first line management skills of those working in the beauty industry.  It applies to those who are co-ordinating or managing services within a small beauty salon, or a section or department within a larger store.  It incorporates self-directed application of knowledge and skills.  The beauty specialist at this level would provide services including lash and brow treatments, facial treatments, and make-up applicatio…

 The Diploma of Beauty Therapy is the highest level of qualification offered at the Gré College.  To achieve the Diploma a total of 33 units of competency must be completed.  We have set our curriculum to meet the number of units required, and selected a range of specialist electives which will provide you with the skills, knowledge and experience to enter the industry as a qualified Beauty Therapist.
