After the Champagne Sabers imported for France, the Nance Fine Winer designed in Denmark, here is now the Fleurieu Wave Wine Rack.
The Fleurieu Wave Wine Rack is an amazing piece of press-molded
plywood veneer designed by Sydney-born designer Mark Ryan in 1999.
In homage to the principles of molded plywood pioneers such as Ray &
Charles Eames, the form of the rack comes directly from the shape of
the wine bottles it is designed to hold.
Ryan's rack was an overnight classic - receiving an Award of Merit from the Design Institute of Australia and Best New Product at Design Ex 2000.
It holds two dozen bottles of wine.
The name comes from the the Fleurieu peninsular
whose rolling hills,vineyards and surf was the inspiration.
Available
in beech (clear) or American walnut (dark).
With or without wine the Wave Wine Rack will look fabulous in your lounge, your restaurant, your corporate dinner room, your cellar door of your home.
Dimensions:1.3 meters long, 40cm high and 25cm wide. Well proportioned
for any sideboard.
