The model 8201 ADTS from Mensor Corporation, a WIKA company, is a dual channel, precision controller that simulates altitude and airspeed to test various avionics instruments, such as altimeters, air data computers, rate-of-climb meters and vertical speed indicators. The unit has the capability of generating and measuring two accurate pressures and pressure rates simultaneously. Each channel utilises high performance silicon sensors to provide high accuracy and long term stability. Information from both pressure channels is provided on a colour VGA display. Key parameters for both channels are displayed simultaneously, so that the user is able to enter commands for airspeed and altitude. The 8201 features an accuracy of 0.010% FS, and an easy to use operator interface, in an economical package. There are optional versions for commercial aircraft, military aircraft and helicopters.
