About Transmission Band
Transmission is a classy and fresh jazz / funk and soul band based in Sydney .
Consisting of up to 10 members, the line up includes three singers, (two of which are female), trumpet, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, bass guitar, keyboards, guitar and drums.
Transmission plays a variety of music which is very well suited to corporate, and private functions requiring a competent and entertaining band. Transmission also performs brilliantly as a concert band.
For quite settings, Transmission can play excellent sets of smooth jazz tunes, as background or feature music. Yet is equally adept at raising the tempo to play a variety of hot funk and soul numbers designed to keep the dance floor pumping.
