At Tathara Alpacas we have been breeding huacaya alpacas since 1993 with a focus on high quality fibre and confirmation.
In addition to our alpaca stock, we are now producing a line of quilted alpaca doonas. These luxurious doonas are light weight and so very toasty warm. The thermal quality of the alpaca doonas is equivalent to 3.5 lambs wool blankets with a fraction of the weight. We can also supply a his and hers doona that has a double thickness on one side for couples where one partner needs that extra bit of warmth.
