Snaptec Australia has released a new din rail mount DC UPS unit, the CBU versions 2 series. Built on the success of the CBU series of DC UPS units, the new version offers additional features as well as improved performance. The CBU version 2 DC UPS unit is available in 5 versions, 12V 3A , 12V 6A , 12V 10A , 24V 3A and 24V 5A.
The CBU V2 DC UPS offers some unique features these inlcude:
Ability to control the charging current from 10% to 100% of the full current rating which means various sizes of batteries can be used.
Full diagnostics of the battery status.
Ability to start the UPS from the battery without AC mains through the use of a local or remote push button, this is useful when testing the system in the absence of a mains supply.
Configuration for various kinds of lead acid batteries.
Interface for optional temperature compensation probe.
Continuous Battery capacity and health check.
Configuration for multistep charging or single step float charging.
