About SkyHigh Mount Dandenong
Early settlers used the area, strictly for the abundant timber supplies; the surrounding slopes were soon denuded and left desolate. In 1861 the site was established as a survey point and the first Melbourne visitors came to the summit of Mt Dandenong to see the view.
