Sintec Australia is the leading manufacturer of sintered metal filters and friction materials in Australia.

Sintec (located in Melbourne) offers components in bronze, stainless steel, copper nickel (cupro nickel), monel and other alloys and exports to all continents.

The porous filter elements are used for filtration, sparging, aeration, diffusion (diffusers), snubbers, restrictors, silencers and flow control. Filters are made in many shapes and sizes such as filter sheet, tubes, pipe, cones, discs rods etc. and are manufactured with controlled pore sizes in many grades.

The friction materials are sintered compounds sinter bonded to backing plates for use in clutch plates or brake pads.

Other products manufactured by Sintec are sintered mechanical parts and laboratory pipette canisters suitable for autoclave sterilization.

Sintec is also a mnufacturer of heat treated wear parts used in the protein meal rendering presses and hardened mill hammers for milling machines used in grain milling.
