About Sapphire City Dance Academy Inverell
Ms Rolande Hooklyn, Director / Owner of the Sapphire City Dance Academy, Inverell NSW offers dance classes to both children and adults in the styles of:
Classical Ballet: Jazz: Modern: Contemporary: Tap: Song & Dance: Stretch: Latin American: Ballroom: Rock'n'roll plus more.
Dance examinations in all of the styles above are encouraged but not compulsory.
All students may enter dance competitions throughout the year and all are encouraged to be part of the annual end of year production. Some of the past productions staged are: Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs, Peter Pan, The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland, Hansel & Gretel, Pinocchio, just to mention a few.
Ms Rolande is a qualified registered dance teacher with the Royal Academy of Dancing for which she was awarded an Honours and a member of Comdance.
Her training began in Aix-en-Provence, France and continued to train upon her arrival to Australia.
Ms Rolande Hooklyn takes pride in attending teachers' workshops on a regular basis.
