Sage began his training in Chinese medicine in 1993, completing a Practitioners Advanced Diploma in Remedial massage and Acupressure therapy, with renowned acupuncturist, herbalist and teacher, Richard Gutwein.
Sage’s herbal medicine training began with a certificate in herbal medicine in 2002, producing the herbal tea range, Buddha Tea.
Sage then completed a four year Advanced Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine (both acupuncture & herbal medicine streams) at the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SITCM) in Sydney.
His training has included a practical internship at the SITCM clinic and a ten week internship for acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and massage at Nanning and Chengdu university hospitals in China.
