About Professor Bruce Dunphy
Professor Bruce Dunphy is an international expert in the areas of fertility, endoscopic (key-hole) surgery and in-vitro fertilization (IVF) having worked in these areas for over 20 years. Bruce is a subspecialist in Reproductive Health, Gynaecology and Infertility, holding the Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Bruce’s areas of expertise include fertility, endoscopic (key-hole) surgery, and Reproductive Health including endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and in-vitro fertilization (IVF). He has trained numerous gynaecologists in advanced operative endoscopy (keyhole surgery), microsurgery, IVF and has published widely on numerous topics including IVF, infertility surgery, keyhole surgery, male infertility, and outcomes from treatments. Bruce initially trained in the United Kingdom in centres such as Oxford, St. Mary's Hospital in London and the Harris Birthright Centre for Reproductive Medicine. His current and past academic appointments include being a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Australian and North American Universities, a Professor of Medical Education and a Conjoint Professor of Education. He has also been a Chief of Service for Infertility, IVF and Gynaecology at two prestigious North American teaching hospitals, and a Director of an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Program in Australia.
