Point Break Drama Acting School is excited to announce the return of the
very popular Drama Sports program for Adults, to start on February
10th, 2011.
Have you seen the television shows, Thank God You're
Here and Whose Line is It Anyway? Have you been amazed and thoroughly
entertained by the actors ability to make up and perform on the spot
with no rehearsal? How do they do It? This course will give you a strong
grounding in the... art of improvisation and make you a more rounded performer.
Drama
sports are a series of games that utilize an actor's improvisation
talents, allowing students to explore and extend their acting range
whilst having a great time.
This high-energy course will be
heaps of fun and challenging, culminating in a Drama Sports competition
on the final day of term. The course will be taught in essentially three
parts:-
1st Day: Warm up and introduction to all rules and terminology used in games.
2nd Day: Playing and practice of various Drama sports games & Selection of teams.
3rd Day: Drama Sports competition. Captains and judges to be decided.
The course will be held over 10 weeks and is suitable for all levels. Places are limited so please get in early.
It is essential to book yourself in early to guarantee a place.
