About Piloga

Piloga is the fusion of Pilates and Yoga designed to build strength with leaner muscles, improve flexibility and create mind/body harmony.

During a Piloga session particular attention is paid to building strength and endurance in the body's core postural muscles.  This promotes "core stability" which enhances spinal/pelvic awareness protecting the spine against injury whilst supporting internal organs and promoting good posture.

Exercise should be an important part of our lives, it should add to not take away from our enjoyment of a full life.  With Piloga matwork we can minimize the amount of time spent at the gym and maximise the results achieved from a full-body workout.

A fabulous class for all ages and levels of fitness

If you ever have any back soreness or stiffness like I do, whether age related or from excess use, through gardening and other hobbies like me, these classes are fabulous to help loosen and free up the soreness of joints and muscles. I get the ultimate benefit if I can get to 2 classes each week. It helps me to stay free in movement with little or no back pain. If ever I miss a week I start to very quickly seize up and I can't wait to get back to relieve the pain of my stiffened joints and especially my back. The more inactive I am the worse I get but it is all about the low impact and awesome benefits of the combined Pilaties strengthening & the Yoga stretching that seems to make this form of exercise so beneficial to me. Try it out, I love it.
