All of 2008 saw the building through a major refurbishment and refit to the classic French Brasserie but kept it's much loved recogisable elements. In 2009 it won a Launceston City Council Heritage Award for Best Street Scape.

Pierre's now offers 5 star comfort at affordable prices. It's open for breakfast lunch and dinner six days a week (closed sundays, monday nights and public holidays). Bookings are recommended. The menu is availble on the pierres.net.au website.

In addition to the amazingly decorated Brasserie & Wine Bar, Pierre's offers its 'Bordeaux Room' for private hire - sits twelve comfortably. The room can be fully catered and has a 42 inch plasma presentation screen, electronic whiteboard & more.
