Avalanche is professional calendar solution like no other. Built upon the Glacier framework, it exhibits complete co-operation with lightweight components, allowing the calendar to be embedded within internal dialogs, such as those used in MDI-style GUIs. The calendar is locale sensitive, employing different rendering styles depending on the locale, as well as locale-dependent day-of-week and month labels. Avalanche allows for pluggable language translations where Java's month and weekday localisation does not suffice, with out-of-the-box support for 13 languages. Finally, it is free of memory leaks, and is certified to exhibit a stable steady-state memory footprint.
