About Nanshe Designs
Barbara Nanshe designs and makes jewellery with meaning. Honouring the Goddess, in all her facets, is an important theme for the design of each piece. Animals, plants, the earth, womens form, spirituality and ancient feminine motifs play a big part.
Barbara believes in the magic of nature and the healing power of honour, fun and colour.
Barbara's designs utilize many different materials including sterling silver; gold; semi precious stones; perspex; laminate; glass; bone; antique and found objects. Barbara uses many techniques to fabricate pieces including wax forming for casting in silver or gold. Casts are produced in limited editions of 20, plus the master, but each is uniquley different.
Barbara is also interested in working with you to create something uniquely personal.
