This community support service addresses a well-recognised gap in student services and offers, at no cost to families concerned, support for children and young people.
School Principals and Teachers strongly support our art /creative expression based practice, (have many children who could benefit from our individualised attention) and have offered suitable rooms for when funding enables the extending of this proven service that is based in studio space provided by Bayswater Primary School.
Our practice is integrated with and complimentary to student services such as Intensive English Centres, District Student Service Offices and the GP plus program where it is valued, encouraged and endorsed.
Funded by research grants from the Federal Office of Crime Prevention 2008, Lotterywest 2008 and now in 2009 a Community grant. Results have proved rewarding for all concerned.
