Schaffer 2026 Mini loader is no lightweight
Russell Kilner, a civil engineer and surveyor, likes his
Schaffer 2026 mini loader so much he uses it for a variety of activities in his
spare time.
“I am
assembling a small fleet of earthmoving equipment that will allow me to conduct
a smaller scale of ‘hands on’ work when the fancy takes me. I have also been
looking after a sequence of earthen dams for the mining industry,” Russell
says.
In addition,
Russell has hired out his Schaffer 2026 mini loader to construct driveways,
house pads and various drainage tasks.
Russell was
drawn to the Schaffer 2026 mini loader after seeing it at a trade show and
noticing that it was of higher construction standard compared to other marques
in the local market. “I realised it was what I wanted because it is small
enough to be easily transported but it has the capacity to do most of the work
I require,” he says.
“We have
recognised that there is a large market for small towable material handling
machines in Australia,” managing director of Schaffer Loaders in Australia,
Cameron Moir, says. The Schaffer lightweight 2026 mini loader has been specifically
modified from Germany’s product line for Australia.
“The Schaffer
2026 has a higher operating weight compared to other mini loaders, making it a
‘heavyweight performer’ in the lightweight market,” Cameron says.
The heavier
operating weight of the Schaffer 2026 mini loader allows the machine to be used
for serious earthmoving. Instead of “floating” and “skipping” on top of the
soil and not having the weight to dig in, the Schaffer mini loader is able to
gain much greater purchase in the soil for pushing, levelling and scooping.
