Generally, our key areas of assistance are providing AS400 development and reporting services for the finance department and in some cases offer advice and implementation where the business is looking at options to replace their current AS400 based ERP systems.
Generally, this falls into 3 areas:
- AS400 Enhancement / Modernisation; RPG programming / reporting services. Products provide realtime excel spreadsheets that display BCPS general ledger information, data lookup configurable at the user level within excel. The user can save standard excel charts, with their own creative customisation, colours, charts, etc... and the data is fed directly from BPCS in realtime. The authorised user is not required to log into BPCS each time they need to see vital business intelligence from the general ledger.
- AS400 / Legacy Systems Unification / Replacement: Dynamics AX is our choice of replacing AS400 systems to windows based ERP systems because of the high acceptance of Microsoft based products such as Word, Outlook and Excel already within most businesses. Training time is also reduced because Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP has the familiar look and user experience you expect from MS applications. Licensing costs are lower because they are based on concurrent users, NOT named users, as is the case with the other T1&2 positioned ERPs . This is why we are the trusted advisers to the industry with over 20 years experience with AS400 (green screen) development and recently migrating this to familiar Microsoft applications with Dynamics .
- CRM (Customer Relationship management) including workflow and support case tracking and management with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
