Local Melbourne Designer showcased in Toorak Fashion Parade

Local Melbourne designer, Airdrie Makim, of online jewellery website Joolz, was selected to provide the jewellery for a fashion parade in the well-heeled suburb of Toorak.
The charity fundraiser also showed clothing ranges from a number of well-known designers, including Jenny Bannister, Lululemon, Alice McCall, Peter Alexander and Country Road.
The event, hosted at St Catherine’s School, wasput together by the Foundation Committee of St Catherine’s to benefit a number of charity organisations. The gorgeous Zoe Naylor from McLeod’s Daughters, who featured in a four-page spread in Woman’s Day recently,was MC forthe event.
Airdrie was very excited to be a part of the show,held on Friday 1 June.
“It was lots of fun, and Iam always happyto support the wonderful job that the Foundation Committee do inraising funds for a number of charities. And it was great to have my new winter range being shown alongside fabulous designers like Jenny Bannister and Peter Alexander! We all had a lovely time on Friday night, and Zoe was just sensational. She wasabsolutey perfect as our MC, I cannot sing her praises loudly enough.”
