Irishtown Sandstone Pty Ltd is a company based in Perth, Western Australia with several quarries centred at Irishtown a locality south of Perth in the Donnybrook region.
Using the latest Diamond cutting technology and modern processing facilities Irishtown sandstone can produce some of the world’s best AA Grade sandstone Quarry Direct to commercial and the public.
From 20/30mm tiles through to 110mm thick to m3 blocks and everything in between including, cladding, walling, paving.
The sandstone is consistent in quality, has no cross bedding with an even fine grain. . Known for its longitivety and durability this sandstone is easier to maintain and stronger than most other natural stones with minimum compressive strength of 70mpa , only 3.5% water retention and 2.4/tonnes/m3 bulk density also our sandstone is made up of mainly silica thus placing it amongst the worlds premium "freestones". This is due to its lack of carbonates as a binder with in its place a secondary silica binder. So compared to other stones Irishtown Sandstone is much more resistant to acids, pollutants and weathering.

Our quarries produce predominantly white and gold with several variations in colour and markings from pink and yellow patterns of the Australian dusk night sky to Gold banded lines and swirls of Ancient lake beds past.
