Interactive Arts features new business Appreciating Music

The recital will be held in the exhibition space on Friday 2 May and all patrons to this recital will have access to a free guided listening tour of the music performed at the recital courtesy Appreciating Music. Appreciating Music owner Daemon Clark”AGuided Listening Tour has been prepared for the Interactive Arts - Eu4ria Recital, covering each of the movements of the two quartetson the programme. These pieces are introduced and discussed so that when you come to hear them live in recital, you can enjoy a more profoundlistening experience. “
Interactive Arts Exhibition details are as follows:
Art Exhibition: 1 – 4 May from 9am until 5pm in the gallery space (ground level) at the Subiaco Arts Centre. Artists featured include Ken Allen, Daemon Clark, Ruth Jeffrey, Bianca Manno, Lorna Murray and Russell Toyn. Free to the general public.
Recital: Friday, 2 May from 6pm – 8pm by string quartet Eu4ria. This includes an exclusive cocktail function with quality food and wine prior to the event. For tickets contact Interactive Arts on 9380 6539
Meet the Artists: 1 – 5 May from 9am until 5pm daily. Artists, musicians and designers will be on hand to meet the public and discuss their works.
Appreciating Music Background AppreciatingMusic.com is an exciting newonline series of guided listening tours through classical music. The Basics Series comprises a ten weekcourse of tours through works by Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi, Chopin and more. Each tour introduces a masterpiece in recorded segments with a discussion of what's going on in the music. Each extract is available for listening at your leisure as you follow the informative commentary, and these segments build to form complete movements by the end ofeach individual tour.
