Imaje is the only company in the world that has successfully developed multiple-jet technology on continuous inkjet printers, also known as small character inkjet printers (SCP). Multiple-jet SCP printers can be used to produce many small lines of text, one very large line, or a small number of medium lines of text. They can also be used to create better barcodes and graphics such as logos and symbols, or a combination of all these elements. Imaje released multiple-jet technology in the early 1990s, and has had more than a decade to perfect the technology. Today Imaje remains the only company able to commercially produce this very useful variety of inkjet printer. The newly launched Imaje 9000 Inkjet Series that will be on display at Auspack 2005 introduces businesses to a new generation of bi-jet capable inkjet printers.
