About Huon Charm Waterfront Cottage
Self-contained accommodation at
Desolation Bay in Southern Tasmania. The property is located between
Geeveston and Dover, one hours’ drive south of Hobart (80
kilometres). Set on 10 acres
of waterfront and bushland overlooking the Huon River. You can walk through native
bush and rainforest, or go fishing, swimming or boating. Local
attractions include the Tahune Airwalk, Forest Heritage Centre at
Geeveston, Hartz Mountains National Park, Hastings Caves and Bruny Island.
The Boathouse accommodates two guests in a double bedroom plus a double futon and has light kitchen facilities including: fridge, microwave,
electric frypan, kettle, toaster, and some breakfast provisions.
There is also an outdoor BBQ, decking and setting, electric heating, electric blanket, colour TV, DVD. On the foreshore of the Huon River Estuary with abundant fishing, oysters and 8 acres of forest with manferns, grotto, etc.
