In addition to the standard range of universal and fire rated ceiling
and wall hatches and doors, Gorter now also manufacture and supply dust and air
tight access hatches and doors for access through walls and ceilings to germ
free and clean room environments. Universal wall and ceiling access hatches are
supplied with an EPDM gasket to ensure a good fit between the hatch and frame,
however this is not air or dust tight. To overcome this issue, Clean room
hatches are provided with a closed cell gasket which ensures a completely air
and dust tight fit for environments where high levels of hygiene are required.
As well as providing an airtight
fit, clean room hatches and doors are also manufactured with a double leaved and
insulated lid, this ensures minimal heat and sound transfer. Gorter Clean room ceiling
and wall access hatches and doors are intended for use in dust free or hospital
environments, but they are also suitable in locations where toxic or flammable
gasses may build up and need to be contained.
In addition to having the ability
to manufacture any custom sized access hatch, Gorter also supplies many
standard sizes of wall and ceiling access hatches and doors from stock.

provided with stainless steel Hardware, cam locks, and a piano hinge as
standard. These are manufactured from strong,
galvanized steel and powdercoated to ensure maximum strength as well as
resistance to corrosion and any environment.
Gorter wall and ceiling access doors and
hatches, unlike others are manufactured with a double leaved, reinforced door
and therefore do not buckle or warp with extended use. Although Gorter wall and ceiling hatches and doors
are manufactured with many standard features, optional added features can also
be added.
