Vents for installation on roofs or in
facades can be equipped with an Explosion Release Control (ERC), patent
no. 2000112.
The ERC releases immediately if the pressure on the inside cover exceeds ca.
100 kg force (Report Institute for Atomic and Molecular Physics, AMOLF,
Amsterdam). Vents are always supplied in aluminium.
Always keep vent opening on both sides free from obstacles that might
obstruct performance.

Calculation of the explosion vent opening
The dimensions must be calculated by a recognized and specialized building and
construction engineer.
