About Flemings Wine
Fleming’s Wine is a Red table wine specialist and small batch premium winemaker from the Langhorne Creek and Barossa Valley regions of South Australia. We were established in 1998, between 3 partners over a glass of wine. The 3 Dragons symbol represents the 3 partners and their passion for making great wines. Grapes are sourced from low yielding vines, helped creating this perfectly balanced wine, grown in South Eastern Australian vineyard regions.
We handpick fruit from established vineyards and contact process the fruit at Winery’s in Langhorne Creek / Barossa Valley and mature the wine in Oak until Blending and Bottling.
We make a Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon Dry Red table wine that is aged in American Oak Barriques for 18 - 24 months.
Our 2005 Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon, is the 8th Cabernet under the Brand name of “3 Dragons”, representing the 3 partners pride and passion in making great Red wine.
The 2005 Barossa Valley Shiraz is the 4th release of the Fleming’s “8 Barrels” Barossa Shiraz, which is maturing in bottle ready for sale. The 8 Barrels brand represents our first small batch of 2002 Shiraz, which matured in 8 American oak Hogsheads. The Shiraz is matured in 300 litre barrels (Hogsheads) for 16 – 22 months, depending on the vintage, in French oak and American oak.
Our Goal in the future, when opportunities arise, is to produce other Table wines, to build our brand, open new markets and increase sales. Since the first Red Table wine was made in 1998, Flemings Wines has developed a reputation for consistently producing concentrated red wines, with an abundance of fruit character, value for money and trademark soft tannins.
