Grandmother Drum Prayerformance - DRUM FOR CHANGE
One Drum...... One Heartbeat...... One Family...... One Earth
The largest drum of its kind in the world, the GrandMother Drum took over a year to construct, and has over 1500 strips of wood, two hundred crystals inlaid in its kettle base and is covered by one giant buffalo hide. All this combined produces a phenomenal sound that not only stirs the soul, but has a tremendous healing effect on the body. The 7ft diameter Grandmother Drum with White Eagle Medicine Woman and her international ensemble return for their 3rd Australia World Tour to rock your heart and soul with an ancient eternal heartbeat & thundering primal rhythms.
The performances are interactive, tribal with ceremonial flare… GrandMother Drum Projects dynamic "prayerformances" transform the hearts of all involved, leading audiences in a passionate fury of love.
