Driftwood
Estate is located in the northern reaches of the Margaret River Region, 280 kms
south of the Western Australian capital of Perth. The area is renowned globally for
producing premium quality wines.
The estate
was established in 1989 and vines have been planted to more than 20 hectares.
In addition to the estate Driftwood manages and receives fruit from two
properties, comprising 40 hectares, located within the Margaret River Region.
The maritime climate, fertile soil and attention to detail in the vineyards
combine to produce fruit with strong varietal characteristics.
Wines are
made to express individual characteristics of the fruit grown in the vineyards
and reflect different vintage conditions. Wine styles produced by Driftwood
include Shiraz,
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Semillon as well as blends such as
Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon, Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon and Classic White.
Located on
the estate is the award winning Driftwood Estate Restaurant. The restaurant
resides in a Grecian building set amongst the undulating vines. Our extensive
menu offers an abundance of fresh local produce crafted to perfection by our
executive chef and his team.
