About Dr Annette Webb MBBS FRACP Paediatric Gastroenterologist
Dr Annette Webb graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1993. She first completed training in general paediatrics at the Royal Childrens Hospital and then went on to do a further four years in gastroenterology training at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne . Annette also works at the Royal Children’s Hospital Gastroenterology Department where she is employed as a consultant gastroenterologist and runs the Irritable bowel clinic and a general gastroenterology clinic. She also has an appointment at Cabrini Hospital, Malvern where she performs private endoscopic services. She is board certified (Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy) for paediatric endoscopy services. Annette has completed a Doctoral thesis through the University of Melbourne in the area of novel therapies (gut focussed hypnotherapy) for paediatric irritable bowel syndrome in 2008. Annette’s interests include functional gut disorders including irritable bowel syndrome, general paediatric gastroenterology (e.g constipation, reflux disease, celiac disease) and food allergies.
