Down Under Ice Designs is esteblished as the Premier Ice Sculpting company in Australia, as well as recieving international commissions.
Glenn Smith has been sculpting ice professionally for over 25 years and has taught many other sculptors in Australia. Down Under Ice designs has been producing top of the range Ice installations and sculptures as well as performing live for Melbourne and beyond for events such as The Australian Open, Melbourne Grand Prix, Nagano and Lillehamer Winter Olympics, Winterlude and Bal De Niege, Canada, Ice World, Germany. Frozen in time, Sovereign Hill.
Based outside of Melbourne, on the Bellarine Peninsula allows Down Under Ice Designs to produce the purest Ice using 100% Rainwater in its production, and the factory currently operates using 50% Solar Power, with plans to increase to 100% by 2011. Where possible Down Under Ice designs recycles all ice.
