Kiwi born but leaving for English shores where she studied Bachelor of Arts. During this time Deanna scholarshipped over to UCSD for a year and was in an exchange programme through Lancaster University, England in Italy . After graduating she lived in Germany for a year & returned to NZ for 2 years studying art at The Learning Connexion (TLC). Since 2000 she has lived in the Australian tropics and married and become Kohler (trans) 'charcoal maker'. Deanna has sold works in Australia and NZ. Awards include: the Teletalk award, through Arts Society; the Caricature (2009) and Dingo (2011)Awards through the Blunt Edge of Portraiture and Celebrating the Tablelands Award, through the Tablelands Regional Arts Society.
