The Bremick range of stainless steel self drilling screws, available from Darwin Bolt Supplies , is suitable for use in highly corrosive areas.
These stainless steel self drilling screws provide single step fastening solutions in a range of applications, including fastening to timber or self drilling into metal up to 12.5mm thickness (series 5). The Bremick range is manufactured and tested in conformance with the Australian Standard AS 3566 (self drilling screws for the construction industry).
Darwin Bolt Supplies’ stainless steel self drilling screws come in different types:
Type 17: This stainless steel drilling screw has a hexagonal head for fastening of timber or aluminium, with or without seals or with bonded washers. These are available in stainless steel grades 304, 316 to AS 3566 Class 4. Type 17 stainless steel screws are available in weights of 12g and 14g.
Self drilling for metal: These comprise a hexagonal head for fastening in metal, with seals, without seals or with bonded washers, in stainless steel grades 304, 316 to AS 3566 Class 4. These screws are available in 12g and 14g weights.
Type 17 bugle batten screws: These are used for flush fastening of heavy duty timber in stainless steel grade 304 to As3566 Class 4. These screws are available in weights of 14g.
Type 17 decking screws: These are suitable for fastening timber decking and are available in stainless steel grade 304 to AS3566 Class 4. Decking screws are available in 10g weights.
Needle point stitching screws: These screws have a hexagonal slot head for fastening into timber and thin steel. They are available in stainless steel grade 304 to AS 3566 Class 4. These come in 8g weights.
Wing drilling screws: These screws comprise a countersunk rib head for fastening into timber or composite boards to metal. These screws are available in stainless steel grade 304 to AS 3566 Class 4. The wing drilling screws are available in 10g weights.
Wafer head screws: These are used for fastening timber where a flat head is required. These screws are available in stainless steel grade 304 to AS3566 Class 4 and come in 10g weights.
