By: Creative Cruising  19-Aug-2005

Creative Cruising has a history-making, two weeks trans-Pacific cruise from San Francisco to Sydney on the world’s biggest and most extravagant liner, Queen Mary 2 in February 2007, priced from a never-to-be-repeated $6589pp twin share if booked by January 31 next year. And this includes air from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane* to San Francisco, a night pre-cruise at the famed Handlery Hotel Union Square, all grand 5-star dining and entertainment on QM2 as she cruises to Honolulu, American Samoa, Auckland and finally Sydney, and port charges and air taxes. Costing $1-billion and weighing in at a 151,400 tonnes – the same as 132 of Sydney’s famous Manly Ferries – QM2 will arrive in Sydney at 6am on February 20 2007 and leave at 11pm that night – but not before being joined in Sydney Harbour by ‘little sister’ QE2 that will arrive at 9pm on the 20th, and spend two nights in Sydney on her own round-world cruise. Creative Cruising have this San Francisco-Sydney fly/cruise package, as well as a range of other sectors of QM2’s "Around the World in 80 Days" cruise from Fort Lauderdale – Sydney being her only Australian port of call.
