I have always loved creating and making things. From a young age I was cross-stitching, decorating boxes, and hand making my own paper, soap and greeting cards. I loved visiting markets to be inspired by all of the beautiful handmade items. And I was always dreaming up products and business ideas.
My love of all things creative led me to a career in Graphic Art, where I worked for several years.
Becoming a full time mum in recent years has inspired me to “get crafty” again.
I am constantly inspired by all of the beautiful cotton fabrics available and find it difficult to choose just one to work with at a time! I love projects that allow me to combine perfectly coordinating, or pleasantly clashing, colours and patterns to create unique patchwork designs.
Wherever possible I find small projects to use up my fabric scraps and off-cuts to minimise waste. I like to do this with paper and card too.
Making my products makes me happy, and I hope they make you happy too!
