About Convent Bakery
The Abbotsford Convent Bakery is a unique wood fired bakery located
within the magnificent Abbotsford Convent Precinct once occupied by the
Sisters of Good Shepherd,the 2 historic wood fired masonry ovens built
in 1901 produce a daily array of artisan bread while the cafe serves
organic coffee and tea,freshly made rustic sandwiches,egg & bacon
panini,juices,pies,quiches,cakes and tarts.The bakery roasts its own
organic rainforest alliance coffee on site,catering is available for
pick up or delivery 7 days a week,large cakes and tarts are also
available to order.The bakery is available for hire for evening
functions such as cocktail parties and gourmet bbq's.The bakery
is open 7 days a week from 7 am to 5 pm.
