Black Swan State Theatre Company is proud to present its second season at the State Theatre Centre of WA! 2012 is Black Swan's 21st anniversary season and we have chosen to celebrate our coming of age. This is a great season which reflects on the fundamental questions of identity. It looks into our past for clues and guesses at our future.

2012 is the start of a new era of regional engagement for Black Swan, which aims to embed theatre in the lives of all Western Australians, regardless of location. We want Western Australia’s State Theatre Company to be your gateway to new worlds. Our 2012 season includes four world premieres by Australian playwrights, an American stalker thriller, and a British love story for the ages!

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM

One of Shakespeare's most beloved comedies weaves three stories of love, mischief and magic amongst feuding fairies, bumbling players and pining lovers, all set in a moonlit forest on a midsummer night.
