I came to Berck Solicitors at a very difficult time in my life with an awkward emotional and financial separation to be sorted. Totally naïve to the Family Court and very concerned, I was feeling very vulnerable. They explained the procedures, and presented options and possible outcomes without exaggeration, giving me a much better understanding and outlook. With no possibility of reconciliation it should have been brief, however the intransigence of my ex managed to extend the process through the GFC. The solicitors & staff understood my frustration at my ex changing a number of lawyers because they wouldn’t/couldn’t tell her what she wanted to hear. This delayed the proceedings when she turned up in court self-represented and ill prepared.
