About Bakers Flat Cottages
In the beautiful NSW South Coast hinterland are two private and secluded cottages. Located on the Deua river and surrounded by the Deua National Park.
One bedroom mud brick pioneer style cottage just for two, with lanterns, candles and wood stove for cooking. En-suite bathroom with flushing toilet and bucket shower.
The larger cottage has two bedrooms with en-suites, solar lighting, gas cooking, showers, fridge and stove. Wood heater, lounge and dining room.
Both cottages have fully equipped kitchens and are well appointed. Each has its own BBQ and river access, and are completely private from each other.
We are two hours drive from Canberra, and four hours from Sydney.
From the cottages, the beach at Moruya is about 45 minutes drive or drive inland to the historic village of Braidwood.
Come to the cottages to enjoy peace and tranquility amongst in the
bush. Wildlife abounds, with daily visits from kangaroos who laze
around the property. Wombats and goannas are also regular visitors, and
birdlife abounds. The river is clean and clear and lovely for swimming or just lying beside it under the trees and reading a good book!
