We are looking for individuals who ar e serious about growing their business. Being involved in the start up of a new chapter is not the same as joining an existing chapter. In addition to being challenging, you can expect it to be very rewarding. During the process you can expect to make some significant long term business relationships that will stay with you for years to come. We have some members who consistently receive between 40% and 80% of their new work from the word of mouth referrals from fellow chapter members.Before you make the decision to get involved in helping start a new chapter, you need to make sure you have been to at least two chapter meetings, so you can get an understanding of what goes on at a BNI meeting. BNI operates on a givers gain philosophy, not on a "What's in it for me?" mentality. By bringing business into the chapter you will get business back from the chapter. The best way to describe it is Karma - what goes around comes back around.Most new chapters are started by a group of people who cannot get into an existing chapter because their business is already represented in the chapter they visited, and indeed in all the other chapters in Sydney.
