Artemis of Aberdeen is a private art gallery and BYO Bistro in the Upper Hunter Valley. The Gallery is housed in a restored 19th century church, it showcases the work of DJ Stief, applauded for his depiction of the human form reminiscen of film noir. The Church is also the venue for banquets and private parties.
Recently added is garden dining, sitting in the serene setting with the gently scent of pennyroyal gently surrounding the diners, you may catch a glimpse of the possums.
The menu is unique, but most people bypass that, except for the desserts, and go for the days' specials. If available we offer Kangaroo with Yabbies and Macadamia, but without doubt our most popular specials are Risotto or Duck with Chocolate Gravy.
If you are passing through Aberdeen, make sure you time it for dinner and stop in for dinner.
