Our custom made wooden names give that personalised touch to a room.  Made from solid hardwood timber, your custom made name will stand out as each one is made from your choice of wood.  And being hardwood, the figuring and grain pattern it offers is simple beautiful.  MDF just doesn't have anywhere near the beauty that natural timber can offer.

With real wood being used for the custom made wooden names, painting is not required for each letter or name.  They are sprayed each with at least 2 finish coats of Shellac.  Shellac is a natural non toxic child safe product that is even used to manufacture food grade medicine.

Currently at Archie Woodworks, we have three main wood choices for custom made wooden names.  Camphor Laurel, Red Cedar and Queensland Maple. All the wood used to create the wooden names comes from sustainable environmentally friendly sources.
