Introducing the new Interface model 1200 series flange mount design low Profile load cell. By using an inner bolt circle configuration on the hub instead of a singe thread, the load cell can be easily mounted to a variety of flanges. The bolt circle configurations mate to many existing actuators and mechanical components. The primary advantage of a bolt circle is that the screws, being considerably smaller than a single center thread, can be properly tightened to known torque specifications using conventional torque wrenches. Also, the difficulty of applying a tension load to a load string for the purpose of setting a jam nut can be avoided. A tight-tolerance center feature in the load cell hub preserves alignment in the load string, without dependence on the bolt circle itself. Errors due to misalignment can actually be reduced with the flange mount method. The flange mount is popular in many test machine applications were space is limited and the accuracy of an Interface Low Profile is needed. The Model 1200 Loadcells are available in capacities from 30K to 330K in single, dual, or triple bridge configurations.
