The key to Allweld Industrial Ladders' success is the quality and strength of their products. From the largereinforced checkerplate platform, to the smallest component on the ladder - all material used is high quality and built to last. Ladders are all fully welded - no pop rivets or "punck lock systems" and the material used is high grade and thick walled aluminium. Welding is carried out toAS/NZS 1665:2004 and ladders are designed and constructed in accordance to AS/NZS 1892.1:1996 pt1. Folding platform ladders are available from two to eight steps. Castors are an optional extra. Spring loaded castors operate the two, three, four, five and six step platform ladders. A new lever castorsystem has been developed for the seven and eight step platform ladders which gives far greater stability than spring loaded castors on these large units. The lever system is also available for the six step platforms on request. The lever castor system is simply operated by the operators' footbut still allows the platform ladderto be foldedfor storage.
